Jones, Julius (RB)
Posted Nov. 16, 2009 @ 5:55 p.m.
Jones is likely to miss at least Sunday's game at Minnesota because of a bruised lung.
Coach Jim Mora said Monday that what was thought to be a cracked rib sustained in the first quarter of Seattle's loss at Arizona on Sunday is a bruised lung. Doctors had Jones stay behind overnight in an Arizona hospital as a precaution. Jones flew back to Seattle Monday morning.
Houshmandzadeh, T.J. (WR)
Posted Nov. 16, 2009 @ 5:51 p.m.
Houshmandzadeh had nine catches for 165 yards Sunday in the Seahawks' 31-20 loss at Arizona.
It was Houshmandzadeh's best game since signing with Seattle, but he failed to find the end zone. That may be tough to do again Sunday when the Seahawks travel to Minnesota.
Forsett, Justin (RB)
Posted Nov. 16, 2009 @ 5:49 p.m.
Forsett rushed for a career-high 123 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown run, for the Seahawks on Sunday in a 31-20 loss at Arizona.
Julius Jones is likely to miss at least Sunday's game at Minnesota because of a bruised lung, so Forsett figures to get plenty of carries this week. The problem is the Vikings' defense is tough to run on, so don't expect another 100-yard game.
Hasselbeck, Matt (QB)
Posted Nov. 16, 2009 @ 5:46 p.m.
Hasselbeck was 26 of 52 for 315 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions Sunday as the Seahawks lost 31-20 at Arizona.
It's hard to blame Hasselbeck for the Seahawks' struggles considering the injuries on offense, but he still puts up yardage totals most week. It's just a matter of whether he can keep the ball out of opponents' hands.
Jones, Julius (RB)
Posted Nov. 15, 2009 @ 4:06 p.m.
Jones left Sunday's game against Arizona early in the first quarter with a chest injury.
Jones carried the ball twice for 10 yards. His departure left Justin Forsett as Seattle's primary back.
