Edwards, Braylon (WR)
Posted Nov. 17, 2009 @ 5:45 p.m.
Edwards has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge after he was accused of punching a man outside a downtown nightclub last month.
Edwards was arraigned in Cleveland Municipal Court on Tuesday. The 26-year-old was traded to the New York Jets two days after he was accused of punching a friend of NBA star LeBron James on Oct. 5. Edwards waived his right to a speedy trial and was scheduled for a Dec. 12 court hearing.
Sanchez, Mark (QB)
Posted Nov. 16, 2009 @ 5:29 p.m.
Sanchez threw for 212 yards while completing 16 of 30 passes in the Jets' 24-22 loss to the Jaguars.
Sanchez had two INTs after going the last two weeks without one. The passing game doesn't seem to be clicking on all cylinders for the rookie at this point in his career.
Cotchery, Jerricho (WR)
Posted Nov. 16, 2009 @ 5:26 p.m.
Cotchery had six catches for 68 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 24-22 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
Cotchery has 33 catches and 498 receiving yards to lead the Jets in both departments.
Jones, Thomas (RB)
Posted Nov. 16, 2009 @ 5:24 p.m.
Jones carried 21 times for 77 yards Sunday in a 24-22 loss to the Jaguars.
Jones ranks eighth in the league with 781 yards on the ground and can look forward to facing the Patriots next weekend.
Leonhard, Jim (S)
Posted Nov. 16, 2009 @ 4:54 p.m.
Leonhard is questionable for the team's game at New England after being limited in practice with a broken right thumb.
Leonhard, injured in last Sunday's loss to Jacksonville, returned to practice Friday and participated in individual drills as well as some team activities while wearing a cast on his hand. Coach Rex Ryan said he'd consult with Leonhard and the team's trainers to see how he feels leading up to the game Sunday. Eric Smith would get the start opposite Kerry Rhodes if Leonhard can't play.
