Bess, Davone (WR)
Posted Nov. 20, 2009 @ 12:24 p.m.
Bess had six catches for 63 yards in a 24-17 victory at Carolina on Thursday.
Bess could be more of a factor in Miami's passing game after this effort. The Dolphins play the Bills next in Buffalo.
Henne, Chad (QB)
Posted Nov. 20, 2009 @ 12:23 p.m.
Henne was 17 of 29 for 172 yards and one TD to RB Ricky Williams in a 24-17 victory at Carolina on Thursday.
Henne has done a good job taking over as the starter for Chad Pennington, but he doesn't have too much fantasy value.
Williams, Ricky (RB)
Posted Nov. 20, 2009 @ 12:21 p.m.
Williams rushed for 119 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 24-17 victory at Carolina on Thursday.
Williams started in place of an injured Ronnie Brown. The 2002 NFL rushing champion had a receiving and rushing touchdown in the same game for the first time in his career that included a couple of lost seasons. "Coach always talks about finishing," Williams said. "Sometimes in this league, in a physical game, it's difficult to finish. I think in the past we've prided ourselves on finishing games and we did a good job tonight."
Berger, Joe (G)
Posted Nov. 20, 2009 @ 12:46 a.m.
Berger, who replaced Jake Grove at center in Miami's game Thursday, left the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.
Berger tried to go back into the game but was re-injured. Nate Garner replaced him. It's not certain how serious the injuries to Berger and Grove are.
Grove, Jake (C)
Posted Nov. 20, 2009 @ 12:44 a.m.
Grove left the Dolphins' game on Thursday because of an ankle injury. He did not return.
Backup center Joe Berger also was injured but he would come back only to leave again. Grove is a big presence on the Miami offensive line and his presence was quickly missed after Berger left. Nate Garner moved over from left guard and botched a snap on the second play.
