Re-signing of Roos gives Titans more draft flexibility

Titans OLT Michael Roos isn't a household name, but he's an above-average player at a vital position who likely would cost Tennessee a bundle to re-sign next offseason if he played to the standard he has set in three NFL seasons. The contract, which reportedly is worth $43 million over six years and includes $15 million in guarantees, is further proof that there's never been a better time than the present to be a left tackle.

The re-signing of Roos doesn't necessarily mean the Titans are out of the market for a tackle; ORT David Stewart's could be a UFA after the '08 season. But they can probably wait until the middle rounds at this point.

Guten Tag, heir Wilkening, from Germany! God bless the Internet and its ability to feed live broadcast to me here in order to try and keep up! Unfortunately, it's going on 10pm here.

Keep your head up during this wire-to-wire coverage, and tell Mr. Nawrocki that he's doing a great job.
