Suspensions affect Vikings-Lions line...

The Las Vegas Hilton, no doubt responding to the suspensions of Vikings DTs Kevin Williams and Pat Williams, lowered the line on Sunday's Minnesota-Detroit game from Vikings minus-9½ to Vikings minus-7½.

Akso on Tuesday, the Saints lost a pair of key defensive players -- DEs Will Smith and Charles Grant -- as well as RB Deuce McAllister to four-game suspensions for violating the NFL's policy on steroids and related substances. As of this writing, that news has not moved the line for Sunday's Falcons-Saints game. New Orleans is a three-point favorite, with some Las Vegas books making bettors lay minus-120 (bet $12 to win $10) to take the Saints. That may change, however, given the Saints' personnel losses.

6:01 p.m EST update: The Vikings-Lions game is off the board throughout much of Las Vegas, as is Falcons-Saints.
