The Rams have lost their last three road openers. In each game, St. Louis was favored, most recently in 2005, when the 49ers scored a 28-25 win as a 6½-point underdog. The Rams will not be favored at Philadelphia in Week One and could very well be an underdog of more than a touchdown, but a strong Week One effort is a must as they vault into the teeth of a tough schedule that features games vs. 2007 playoff teams in the first two months of the season.
