And just when the Cowboys were shedding the 'America's (Most Wanted) Team' label ...

I know that more information has to come out on the alleged Pacman Jones incident before we can make any sweeping judgments here, but we have to go back to what Roger Goodell told him at his reinstatement. It was a zero-tolerance policy, meaning if anything of substance were to happen, Jones would be ripe for suspension again.

My guess is he could miss a game or two because of this. The Cowboys, as I wrote last week, were asking Jones to lay low -- not because of something specific but to try to prevent something like this from happening. And it just might have happened the way they feared.

My question to you: If Jones indeed did have some sort of issue, does he deserve suspension? If so, for how long?

For any other player, this matter likely wouldn't be serious enough where the team couldn't have trouble dealing with it internally. But with Jones, when you consider his body of work, it has to be taken seriously, right?

If he's out, compounded with the Terence Newman injury, which appears serious, it leaves the Cowboys with Anthony Henry, Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick at corner, and all three would need to play serious minutes. All of a sudden, drafting two corners doesn't seem like such a luxury.

We soon shall see ...
