Panthers-Chargers: Rosario will be a factor

The first time I had seen anything from Panthers TE Dante Rosario was last season when he made a 54-yard catch and run last season against the Seahawks, and I thought, "Oooh." It was a flicker of excitement for an offensively boring Panthers team, and it made me think we might see a lot more of this guy at some point.

Well, we got it today. With Steve Smith out, Rosario became a weapon, catching seven passes for 98 yards and the game-winning TD in the shocker of a win in San Diego. He's athletic, he's strong for his size, and if Rosario can avoid false-start penalties (he had two big ones), he should be a big factor -- even when Smith returns in two weeks.

Rosario looked really good. After watching his performance against the Bolts, I don't see how that guy cannot be another weapon for Delhomme. I confess, I picked him off the FA wire for my Fantasy Football League.
