Panthers-Chargers: Chris Harris is a tough son of a gun

I must admit, I wasn't convinced that Chris Harris was a great safety after last season, despite his eight forced fumbles -- an eye-opening total.

But today he's showing he's a tough hombre and a heck of a football player. He had been playing well when LaDainian Tomlinson dropped his head and delivered the blow into Harris, knocking him back and breaking Harris' tackle. But in fine form, Harris came back and pounded Tomlinson on the next play. What did Harris do afterwards? He got up and got back to the huddle. A lot of players could take notice of that.

Then, Harris made what has been (to this point) the play of the game, stripping Antonio Gates (who hadn't lost a fumble in forever) and allowing Panthers CB Chris Gamble to run it back for a score. After last season, Harris has enough attention around him to perhaps be in line for a Pro Bowl season if he keeps this up.
