Chiefs-Patriots: Blame Sanders and Meriweather

Damon Huard just made a brave and tremendous throw against two blitzers in his face, hitting Devard Darling for a huge pass play on the hot read. It was texbook quarterbacking and toughness.

On the Patriots' side, Brandon Meriweather lost coverage on Darling (should have known he'd be the hot read on that play) and safety James Sanders took a bad angle on the help, looking to make the interception and not the tackle that would have saved them 40 yards or so.

The Patriots made a goal-line stand, though, and saved the game.
