PFW believes that Giants TE Jeremy Shockey has been traded to the Saints for multiple draft picks, including the team's second-rounder (No. 40). We'll try to confirm this as soon as we can.

Nothing yet -- it hasn't happened yet. Sorry for jumping the gun. Sounds like something could happen officially tomorrow.

Sounds like another b.s. rumor dressed up as "reporting."

Yeah I think this may be just another "rumor." I'll believe it when I see it on the big screen.

GREAT move on the Giants part. Shockey is high maintenance, and not the complete tight end they thought he would be. His demands to be more involved in the offense were more of a hindrance than a help. Kevin Boss is a blue collar guy who just does what he is asked, and does it for the good of the team. Shockey plays for the good of Shockey.

I agree good move for the Giants. Shockey will be much more effective in a different scheme which plays more to his talents and the Giants will be able to remove one of the last malcontents from the locker room. With the extra pick they could target one of the many mid-level TE prospects available in the draft. I'm pulling for Brad Cottam.
