Nolan: Brennan will start for South team

Ran into Mike Nolan at the team hotel this afternoon, and he told me that Colt Brennan will start the game, likely followed by Eric Ainge, which means Andre Woodson would play third. Nolan said that they all would rotate in, but that they might change the order slightly.

Nolan also said that Texas WR Limas Sweed would not play because of injury. WR Early Doucet was going to be a game-time decision. Other than that, he thought everyone else was healthy.

It's too bad that the reports about Lane Kiffin -- which PFW originally reported about a week ago, I might add -- had happened about two hours before. I saw him kind of wandering aimlessly around the hotel lobby, and had I not been talking to two people at the time I most likely would have grabbed him. That said, he's not commenting on the report that Al Davis has asked him to resign.

Well, timing never was my thing.

We'll continue with some more of the Q&As tomorrow before the game.
